Hey everybody. Welcome to the 12 days of Legal Tips day one. I'm attorney Andy Marcantel. Your tip today, when you are driving your vehicle and you are pulled over, you want to have all of your documents, license, registration, and proof of insurance in an easy to access, easy to grab plates. I've talked to many cops over the years that say when they pull somebody over and they can see through the window that they're rifling around in their car, one, this might make them think erroneously, that they are trying to hide evidence. And two, it can make them nervous in the stop that you're perhaps going for a weapon. So to avoid all of that, try to find something like a small document holder that's right there on the top of the pile in the glove box.
