A good instructor keeps the student at the forefront of everything they do. The student is the number one focus, not themselves. The class is set up in a way to make learning easier for the student, not to make the class run easier for themselves. Everything they do is for the benefit of the student, not for the benefit of themselves. If they save money, that cost is transferred to the student, not to their own pocket. If they save time, that time is further invested into the student. The student should be at the absolute focus point of literally everything the instructor does, and it should shine through. It should be a hundred percent apparent. It should be totally obvious to literally everybody around that instructor that everything they do is for that student. So when people come to me and they want me as their coach, they can rest assured that they're going to stay safe, they're going to feel confident, they're going to have fun. And literally everything I do behind the scenes and in their time that we have together, all of that is in service of the student. That should be 100% apparent. That should be just absolutely, totally obvious to literally everybody that observes that instructor. That's what a good instructor does. It shouldn't be about me. It should be about the student.
