Hello again everyone. Welcome to Washington Gun Law tv. I am Washington Gun Law President William Kirk. Thanks for joining us. Hey, we're actually not going to geek out on a case. We're not going to geek out on some horrific statute. We're not even going to geek out on a terrible state legislature or some tyrannical governor. Now what we're going to do today is we're just going to kind of go through a little bit of food for thought because I did some number crunching and I kind of took a little walk down memory lane and as I began to kind of chart what might happen come election day and immediately thereafter, I've come to a conclusion and I want to share that conclusion with all of you. So today, let's spend a few minutes and let's talk about why there's never been a better time to arm yourself than right now. Well, just to give people the type of understanding of the financial catastrophic occurrence that occurred, you and I are both privy to people who have been involved in lawful self-defense situations, pulled the trigger with legal justification, faced potential legal consequences, and had to fight for their freedom, didn't have coverage. How much money did it cost them
Speaker 2:
To win their freedom? I really don't think that people really can grasp the magnitude of expenses. Most recently, and you and I have talked about this in the past, the Kyle Rittenhouse case brought a lot to light
Right to bear. That's right. Legal protection for self-protection. Listen, good lawyers aren't cheap. Cheap lawyers aren't good. You're not truly prepared unless you have right to bear back. You, you will always get an attorney answered hotline. So you will always have a confidential phone call. There are no cap limits for either civil or criminal defense. This covers all forms of self-defense. So from a fist to a firearm, from a fat lip to a dead body, you are covered and you will have some of the nation's most passionate two A attorneys in your corner fighting for you. And right now, if you visit my friends@protectwithbear.com and you use the promo code WGL, you'll receive 10% off. Listen, you need to protect yourself so that you can protect them. Visit my Good friends@protectwithbear.com. Okay, America. Here's what we're going to do. We're going to do a little deep geeking out today.
We're going to talk about where we are as a country, where we might be going as a country and what might happen because of where we go as a country. Now, this video might not be for a lot of my regular viewers. I'm just going to say that at the outset because many of you already have gone out and decided to exercise your inalienable Second Amendment right, and you are in a position where you can protect yourself, your loved ones, your property, and all of that stuff. So this might not be for you, but this may be for your friends, your relatives, your in-laws, your neighbors, whoever who's kind of thinking maybe it's time I dip my toes into the Second Amendment waters. Okay? Here's what I want us to think about. This video is being recorded on Monday, October 28th. There are a couple of things I want you to consider.
First, what could happen on election night or shortly thereafter. Now, I'm not necessarily making predictions, but the numbers, and it's certainly the campaigns are both acting in a way where President Trump seems to be in a very strong position right now and could easily be reelected to the White House. And the concern we should have is those on the radical left side of things. Well, they don't take defeat very well. They don't really take anything other than group think real well, and we've already seen already instances when President Trump was elected president the first time of violence. And we have now seen people such as Jamie Raskin in the United States Congress right there talking about how they will work feverishly to not certify that election if President Trump is elected. Now, again, all of this may be nothing but people puff in their chest out, and there could be nothing to this, but is there a high probability?
Is there a high probability depending on what community you are in that there could be significant civil unrest following the elections? I believe there is. And let us remember that the places that are most likely to have some level of civil unrest because of the election results are also the exact same communities that police their police department years ago, which means that there's only about half as many officers to actually respond to things. And so, yes, the likelihood that you may have to take matters into your own hands may never be greater than it is come this November. But then even if we get through that, I want you to think about what a President-elect Trump would look like for this country, especially if you're here illegally because President Trump has made a very firm campaign platform is that he will engage in mass deportation of all the illegal citizens who entered this country during the last four years.
I have zero problems with that whatsoever. I know many of you do not have problems with that either, but we know that there are millions that have come into this country illegally, and I want you to consider this, okay? A house oversight committee on illegal immigration said there were roughly 8 million illegal immigrants that had entered the United States. Now, an article on the Center Square, a publication that I find to be highly reliable, said that the number was somewhere more around 12 million that had come in during the Biden administration. Alright, well, let's just go ahead and split the difference. And let's just say that there are 10 million illegal citizens in the United States today that were not here four years ago. Okay? Now, I don't know what percent of 'em are here with the intent of doing bad things, but we all know even those on the other side acknowledge that there are some that are clearly here, not looking for a better life, but looking to inflict harm upon us.
Let's just say for the sake of argument that it's only 0.01%. Well, you realize if it's only 0.01% and there's 10 million illegal immigrants, that means that there are 1000 active terrorists inside the United States right now of which all would be worried that sometime after inauguration day, January 20th, 2025, that mass deportation would begin. So if they were here with the intent to do something evil, to do something nefarious, to do something violent, the clock is ticking for which time they could actually accomplish that. But let's just change that number and say instead of 0.01%, it's now 0.1%. Again, we're only talking about one 10th of one percentage point earlier we were talking about 100th of a percentage point. Now it's one 10th of a percentage point. Well, guess what? With 10 million illegal aliens now in the country, that means 10,000 of 'em would be those who have terroristic intents.
And if only 20% of 'em decided to act out on it, that would inflict damage. That would exceed both September 11th and October 7th in Israel combined. So between the possibility of having significant political unrest because of election results, and then the fact that if President Trump is reelected, those individuals who came to the United States with nefarious intents will have very little time to accomplish those. There probably has never been a better time to arm yourself. So listen, we're not telling you how to think here at Washington Gun Law. We never tell you how to think, but we are giving you all the stuff to think about. And maybe this is finally the time. Maybe this is the crossroads in your life where you realize that you need something a little bit more than hope and faith to get through the next few months. Listen, if you're actually thinking about getting into the Second Amendment, ask your friends, go to your local gun store.
You'd be shocked at what an inviting community it is and be thirsty for knowledge. The more knowledge you have, the better and more responsible you will be as a gun owner. Listen, if you guys got any other questions about this or anything else related to what's left of our Second Amendment rights, you guys should know how to get ahold of Washington Gun Law by now. But if you don't, that's okay. That information's down there in the description box. If you've got an idea for a video we should be doing around here, great. We want to hear about it. Click on that link right there and let us know. It's probably going to be better than any idea we come up with. If you just want to subscribe to our monthly newsletter, the ability to do all of that is write down there in the description box. And then finally, and most importantly, let's remember this, that part of being the lawful and responsible gun owner, like we talk about all the time here, is to know what the law is in every situation and how it applies to you in any instance that you may find yourself. Until next time, thanks for watching and stay safe.
