Sleeper State Is Pushing It Through RIGHT NOW! By Braden Langley
Welcome back, brothers and sisters. I am Braden. This is Langley Outdoors Academy. The place where we not only talk about what's going on in the gun world, but also how we're going to fix it together and the content that we are going to talk about today. I'm filming at night in advance because I'm ahead of schedule on the Pacific time, but South Carolina has the chance to be the 28th state to be constitutional carry. It's happening in the Senate on Wednesday, and this is going to go to a Republican governor. I'm about to walk you through all of this because this was a sleeper and I'm excited to hear from you guys on this one. And of course, make sure you hit that like button. Subscribe to the channel and turn the notification bell on. Alright, as I mentioned, as always, it is LinkedIn in the description.
Constitutional carry
Here's what's going on happening. The day of this video's release, South Carolina starts session with an eye on passing constitutional carry, something we've been talking about for a while on this channel. Constitutional carry has gained tremendous momentum across the United States and we might be about to get South Carolina and Louisiana is knocking on the door and so is North Carolina. That's about 30 people. Let's get it. Checked this out. This happened back in January when they announced it last year. The South Carolina House passed Constitutional carry House Bill 3 5, 9 4 and sent it over to the Senate to be taken up this year. This year, which is what's happening, and I'm about to show you the vote counts everything right now, South Carolina Senate to vote on Constitutional carry Bill. This came out Tuesday, January 23rd, today, day of filming tomorrow when this airs is when the vote is going down. Okay?
To get a gun in South Carolina
Now the South Carolina Senate is expected to vote on Bill H 3 5 94, the constitutional carry bill on Wednesday. Currently, to get a gun in South Carolina, a person has to be at least 18 years old and has to get a concealed carry permit in order to carry it in public spaces or have it openly in their car. However, house Bill 3 5 9 4 would allow anyone who is law abiding gun owner to legally carry a firearm opened or concealed without a government permit. According to a release from the NAGR that's open carry, that's constitutional carry. That's not a permit from the government to have your rights. That's not a permission slip that can be revoked like we've seen so many times in blue states. This is a big deal. This is the full on constitutional carry being voted on Wednesday when this airs. And here's, here's what's happened previously on the bill passed the house last year.
Right now it is out of the committee. It is going to the general Senate floor, which the next step after that is the governor. Now, let me show you who controls both of these things. They're both Republicans and heavily. This is the current partisan control of the Senate in South Carolina, 30 to 15 Republican advantage with one other, two times as many Republicans are in the Senate for South Carolina where this bill is being voted on tomorrow and after that, should it go, I assume that it will. It's going to this guy. This is the Republican governor of South Carolina, y'all. This looks like we might get a 28th state of constitutional carry in Biden's term, the 28th State, South Carolina, because this bad boy is going down the day of this release, the Wednesday the 24th. This is a big deal. People, of course, stay tuned. I will let you know what the outcome is, break it down, give you all the analysis, and I hope you guys enjoyed this great news. I can't wait to hear from you guys in the comments below and of course I'll see you on the next one.
